Every autumn Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District, hosts one of the most prestigious Mountain Festivals in the world. An international audience gathers for a programme of films, lectures, seminars and entertainment unequalled in the UK. The Festival continues to grow rapidly, with over 7,000 people visiting Kendal over the week’s events. Clive Allen is one of the Festival Directors, and Ascent Marketing Communications is responsible for event PR, marketing and promotion. The wide-ranging brief involves input into all Festival activities.
